On a Roll: Kitsho Authentic Japanese Restaurant and Sake Bar

Humbly located in Hotel Jen, Kitsho Japanese Restaurant and Sake Bar is the place to be when the dire need to go on a gustatory Japanese treat arises. The well-kept restaurant has modern-day dining vibes: wooden tables, four private rooms for intimate gatherings, lounges that can accommodate about 90 persons, soothing Japanese tunes, and a wide selection of Japanese food and sake that promises nothing but authenticity in the metro, all prepared by Japanese Executive Chef Masahiro Mizumoto.

Japanese Executive Chef Masahiro Mizumoto in his element

“In the Philippines, we have a lot of Japanese restaurants, but they don’t taste authentic at all. Here, most of our ingredients come from Japan,” says the Tokyo-native chef who has stayed true to his craft for 30 years now.

While you’re here, be sure to chew on their best-selling bento, sushi, sashimi, sukiyaki, and sake for a complete Japanese cuisine experience like no other.

Kitsho Japanese Restaurant and Sake Bar is located at G/F 3001 Roxas Blvd., Pasay City, Metro Manila. Open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
